Most notable feature over the current Ego 56V hedge trimmer is the additional length of 26 inches up from the previous 24 inch model.

It also receives a two speed selector high and low speeds with low speed optimized for longer runtime, a rotating handle for user comfort, and the knives get an upgrade with Dual Knife Edge, Laser- Cut, Diamond Ground Blades which is said to make quick work of cutting hedges and makes precise, clean cuts that promote healthy new growth.

Runtime figures are also provided with up to 50 minutes on a 2.0ah battery, up to 110 minutes on a 5.0 battery, and 175 minutes with a 7.5ah battery.
