Here’s another Dewalt Flexvolt cordless power tool for you guys to drool over, the Dewalt Flexvolt 54V Alligator Saw DCS397T2. This is one of the few Flexvolt cordless power tools that’s only available in the UK and as such is labeled as a 54 volt Flexvolt tool. 54V and 60V Max are interchangeable as a 60V Max Flexvolt battery is actually 54V nominal.

Anyways this Dewalt Flexvolt 54V Alligator Saw DCS397T2 is quite special because it’s a very interesting concrete cutting saw. It has two set of teeth that reciprocate opposite of each other to cut and are specialized for concrete cutting – very quickly! The closest thing I could compare it to would be like using a single sided hedge trimmer (with specialized teeth) to cut concrete the same way you’d use a chain saw.

Just like the rest of the Flexvolt tools, it’s running a brushless motor and is claimed to offer performance similar to corded.
