EarthQuake XT 12v Polisher / Sander Spotted

Harbor Freight released their first 12v cordless ratchet under the EarthQuake XT brand name over a year ago, and that left many people wondering if and when they would add more tools to the same 12v battery platform. Wonder no more as they just released the first addition to the line with a 12v variable speed polisher/sander.

My thoughts: While this new polisher/sander isn’t what most people expected to be the next addition to the EarthQuake XT 12v battery platform, it is certainly good to see Harbor Freight expanding the line and hopefully there will be even more tools coming to the line soon. Features on the losher/sander include variable speed trigger, slim and compact design and up to 7,300 rpm for fast material removal and polishing.

Features and Specifications:

  • Voltage: 12v DC max
  • RPM: 0-7,300 RPM
  • Variable speed trigger for more control
  • Durable aluminum housing for long service life
  • Slim and lightweight design for extended use without fatigue
  • Price at the time of writing: $199.99 USD at Harbor Freight for a kit with (presumably) (1) 2.0ah battery, charger and the tool.
