A new addition to the ever growing Makita 12v CXT platform is the WT02R1 3/8 Inch drive impact wrench. With only 103 ft. lbs. Of torque this isn’t turning any heads but it’s a very lightweight unit at only 2.3 lbs. which means it should be great for extended light duty use.
My thoughts: this should be a good fit for users who are doing light duty fasteners for extended periods of time. 103 ft. lbs isn’t a ton of torque but it should be fine for most nut and bolts smaller than 5/16”. Makita has been growing their 12v CXT line quite a bit and this looks to be a nice addition to the group.
