Today’s tool news is a bit different than usual, here a Tool Craze follower Hector Toledo shared an image of a new tool. A Milwaukee M18 Fuel – and what is it? He claims it’s a conduit bender.
NOT AN APRIL FOOLS JOKE
I know that most conduit benders are a pole with molded metal on the bottom with a curve so you can use leverage to bend conduit pipes. I’m not an electrician and never used one so it comes as no surprise that I didn’t even know electric “powered” models even existed. I asked Hector, what was I looking at? I thought it was some sort of fancy laser line tool but he says it’s a conduit bender. He also says that you can program it for different degrees of bend.
From the picture we don’t see any battery however it does say Milwaukee Fuel and has the M18 logo stamped on the bottom. This means it’s a cordless tool powered by their M18 18V batteries. It also has ONE-KEY functionality for use with the app presumably so you can track, manage, and customize.
It’s hard to tell how big it is from the image but might be the size of a large circular saw and it has its own stand to keep it off the ground.
I know what day it is but I can assure you it’s not an April Fools joke. It honestly wouldn’t even be funny if it was.
