A company called Stealth Mounts has made a simple device to store and transport many types and brands of power tool batteries. Essentially what they are a small device that mounts to a flat surface in any position and imitates the battery connection point of the battery’s corresponding tool. According to their website, the mounts can be attached to virtually any flat surface via 3 screw or can be mounted on a belt to carry extra batteries when working on a ladder or where trips to get full batteries aren’t practical. The company sells on ebay and have a pretty wide variety of options for pretty much all the major brands.
My thoughts: I think this product is way overdue to the market since battery powered tools are growing ever more popular and thus users have more batteries than ever. They’re very simple but they feature mountability with screws and the ability to be attached to a belt, making them suitable for more than just storage in a shop or trailer. Another nice thing is they’re made with recycled ABS plastic, which is nice to see. Currently they offer mounts for the following brands: DeWalt, Makita, Milwaukee, AEG/Ridgid, Triton, Hilti, Bosch, Ryobi (ONE+), Hitachi (now known as Hikoki in Europe and Metabo HPT in North America), Festool, Worx, ErBauer, JCB, Stanley, Porter Cable, and Black and Decker.
Features and Specifications:
- Recycled ABS plastic construction
- Variety of brand options
- Mounting on a variety of flat surfaces or a belt
- Injection molded
- Battery releases using the battery’s latching system
- Free shipping in the UK
- Shipping worldwide

What do you think of the pricing? The $75 for 10 plus shipping feels steep to me coming out to over $8 per clip when all is said and done. I love the concept though. Because it’s eBay sales only, it makes me wonder if there are some proprietary issues with the clip system for each brand… is this some guy just popping out parts after 3-D scanning or is this legit?
Personally I think pricing is a bit on the high side for what they are and considering how simple the design is but it’s within reason. I bet they’d certainly sell more if they lower the price some.
I looked at the pictures closely and they appear to be manufactured with a form of molded plastic and don’t look at all like they are 3D printed. If you take a look at the buy now link above, it takes you to the search results page and an average Joe not affiliated with stealth mounts made his own and those are clearly 3D printed looking by his pictures. You can tell his are 3D printed because of the ugly lines across the entire piece from the 3d printing process, he didn’t even sand them smooth.
Also, taking a look at stealth mounts page, they claim their’s are injected molded ABS plastic.
You listed ridgid … but they’re not available. Guess I will print mymown this winter.
They have mounts for AEG’s 18v batteries which fit Ridgid tools, so the AEG mounts will fit Ridgid batteries
Thanks. Neither shows up on Ebay though.
