The Milwaukee MX Fuel tools are nothing new as they’ve been showcased since back in late 2019 and this includes their MX FUEL CARRY ON 3600W / 1800W Power Supply MXF002-2XC however it us just recently that some of these tools have been released. Milwaukee is getting ready to launch their MXF002-2XC MX FUEL CARRY ON 3600W / 1800W Power Supply and they state that it will launch as early as February 2021 if all goes well. This bad boy is just as its name suggests, it’s a portable power supply that can power your corded power tools on any job even if there is no power as the power supply provides the power for you using the MX Fuel batteries. Seems overpriced, with sales and things you can have a dewalt setup with same total watt hours with 4 12ah batteries put on their power thing
And you can find the power supply for like 400, and 12ah batteries for less then 200 each
For a total of roughly 1200$ or about 1000$ cheaper
I didn’t notice a price on here, but there is a big difference between this and the Dwalt system and that is pure sine wave versus modified sine wave. If just using construction equipment modified sine wave should be fine, but as tools get higher tech and if you decide you want to plug in your laptop or whatever other more sensitive device, you really want to be using pure sine wave.
