Milwaukee has announced a new generation of M12 Fuel ratchet models for 2025! Of course these will come in 1/4″, 3/8″, and 1/2″ drive. Let’s check them out below.

Milwaukee M12 Fuel 1/4″, 3/8″, & 1/2″ Ratchet Models!
The new M12 Fuel ratchet models are here. These are they’re vanilla models (not their extended or high speed models). Though Milwaukee said they enhanced these new Fuel models to have the best combination of power and speed. They said they did so by eliminating the trade-offs between torque and speed that have limited cordless productivity. This means 550 RPM at 45 ft-lbs torque for the 1/4″, 400 RPM at 70 ft-lbs for the 3/8″, and 300 RPM at 80 ft-lbs for the 1/2″ model. This is thanks to their Powerstate brushless motor and the trigger gives you variable speed control.
Milwaukee says these feature their most compact head and body profile in their class. They claim it’s the industry’s smallest head size and lightweight design with just 1.5 to 1.7 lbs weight when baretool. And as you can see above, they also have an LED light right where you need it near the head of the tool.
The handle features an ergonomic contoured grip to reduce fatigue.
They also feature a modular trigger cap design that lets you swap out the installed trigger with others to better suit your style.
They have various button shapes to choose from including a full paddle design. Each ratchet comes with the button trigger cap installed as well as an extra paddle. You can also buy the optional modular trigger cap kit with 5 trigger caps with 4 buttons and a paddle.
And for enhanced access in tight spaces, the Low Profile Anvil Assembly options also available. These enable you to reduce the tool’s profile and reach fasteners in challenging locations.
I didn’t see it mentioned in any of the Milwaukee press release material but I came across the above picture. This is interesting because it shows the ability to use a grease gun to add grease through the ratchet switch on the back of the head to keep the head of the tool lubed up.
They also offer optional protective boots to protect the head of the tool.
They are stated to launch January 2026 with prices shown below.
