Milwaukee M18 FUEL 7-1/4″ Rear Handle Circular Saw with ONE-KEY 2931-21HD

When we first learned about their latest M18 FUEL 7-1/4″ rear handle circular saw model, Milwaukee claimed it was their most powerful and fastest in its class. It was the 2930-21HD model and now this new model is an update/upgrade to last years model.

As you can see from the name, this model has ONE- KEY functionality built in. ONE KEY allows you to connect this saw to the app and gives you the ability to see where and when the tool was last seen, track utilization and service intervals, and manage inventory across crews and jobsites to maximize uptime and reduce loss.

It isn’t uncommon for Milwaukee to release a great new tool only to sell the same tool again but with ONE-KEY functionality built in. This is basically what they did here however they’ve added other BIG features as well. This model features their VACLINK wireless vacuum control connection. This lets your saw control a compatible VACLINK vacuum wirelessly without the need for extra remotes and such.

The new features don’t end there as this new model also features their AUTOSTOP safety feature. This stops the motor in case it ever faces a bind up situation. This is to prevent kickback and thus protect the user and the motor itself. Milwaukee says the saw uses machine‑learning technology to detect dangerous bind‑ups and stop the blade in these instances. It’s cool to see AI tech being used in the tool industry.

The original features include a powerful brushless motor that produces up to 6,000 RPM no load. As well as a large 2-5/8″ cut capacity.

This saw has the huevos to cut through and eat up lumber. And Milwaukee claims it can do up to 700 cuts per charge when paired with an HD12.0 battery. Although they don’t mention what type of lumber those cuts were made into, though most likely 2×4. Other features include a vacuum port, rafter hook, bevel ability, and 8.3 lbs weight (baretool). It’s 11.6 lbs with an HD12.0 battery.

It will be available in June 2026 for $549 as a kit with HD12.0 battery and charger or $349 as a baretool 2931-20.
