Bauer Corded Drywall Screwgun And Jigsaw Spotted

Harbor Freight has been busy with the Bauer brand, and the latest 2 additions are a 5 amp corded drywall screwgun, and a corded Jigsaw. Both tools are priced well and appear to be marketed towards homeowners and DIYers.

My thoughts: So far the Bauer line has been priced pretty competitively with others on the market, and have some decent features to go along with it. While cordless tools are becoming more affordable all the time, corded tools are still a great option for anyone on a budget who has easy access to an outlet On the drywall screwgun, features include a 5 amp motor, adjustable depth of drive, and a lock on button for extended use as well as a variable speed trigger. On the Jigsaw features include variable speed trigger, 4 orbital settings, and a 6.5 amp AC motor.

Wow – $50 for a corded screw gun is an excellent price. I wonder if the clutch is “noise or noiseless (DW 272 vs DW 274 example)?

Josh The Tooldude

For the price I suspect it’s a noise clutch but I haven’t used it so I can’t say for sure
