This is the same Bosch 18V 2 Speed Blower that we learned about from our earlier post on it thanks to Acme Tools video preview but now we have official info from Bosch themselves. The new Bosch 18V 2 Speed Blower is model name GBL18V-71N and features 71 CFM rating and air speed of 167 mph.
With performance like that it won’t come close to replacing your leaf blower but it will prove useful for small clean up jobs on the jobsite. In fact the blower comes with an additional custom nose piece specially designed for blowing away dust inside holes made in concrete.
The GBL18V-71 is being sold in the GBL18V-71N kit, which includes a standard nozzle, nozzle extension and a small diameter nozzle with a debris-collection tube. The small-diameter nozzle is for cleaning out small holes and cracks. The debris-collection tube that fits over the small nozzle is designed to catch the cleared-out dirt and dust so that it doesn’t fly into the user’s face.
As far as runtime is concerned, it can get a runtime of up to 54 minutes at low speed when paired with a 6.0 ah or 6.3ah core battery.
The price for the new blower is $79 USD and it should be out soon.
