This new 6 bay sequential charger from Bosch charges up to 6 18V batteries sequentially, or in other words one at a time. The ability to charge multiple batteries at a time would have been better however was possibly done to lower costs, just my guess. Either way a 6 bay sequential charger is great for those going through many batteries like a small crew. It does pack some good tech into this unit by making it a fast charger that charges at a rate of 8 amps. The charger first cycles through the connected batteries, charging CORE18V 4.0 Ah batteries to approximately 80 percent in 32 minutes, before cycling again to charge the batteries to full capacity in 50 minutes, according to Bosch. It also has built in fans to cool batteries as it charges.
Each charging bay is also equipped with a priority button to give users the option to prioritize specific batteries to get charged first. Each charging bay also has a battery fuel gauge to let you know the charging cycle and level for each battery, allowing users to monitor progress while they work.
