Bosch GSR12V-140FC 12V FlexiClick 5 In 1 Drill Driver

The Bosch GSR12V-140FC 12V FlexiClick 5 In 1 Drill Driver is one of those tools that you’ll see in Europe and never make it’s way to the USA but things are changing as this tool is available in the USA.

What’s interesting about the Bosch GSR12V-140FC 12V FlexiClick 5-In-1 Drill Driver is that they took their 12V drill driver and gave it the ability to accept different attachment heads for more versatility. I’t truly a 5 in 1 tool because it comes with a standard 3/8″ chuck head that makes it a drill / driver, a 1/4″ hex chuck head that makes it a screwdriver, a right angle drill attachment for getting into tight spots, and an offset angle attachment for reaching into corners.

It appears they took the motor and drivetrain from their current 12V drill PS31 as it has the same torque and max RPM’s, but yet they tweaked the 1st speed to have slightly more RPM’s at 400 RPM. Not the highest spec’d 12V drill and not brushless but the PS31 was capable for it’s size and weight and as such I would assume the new Flexiclick 5 in 1 will be too.

At first I was a bit confused as to why it’s considered a 5 in 1 tool since it only comes with 4 attachments, but if you look at the right angle attachment head, it requires that you use either the 3/8″ chuck or the 1/4″ hex chuck heads making the right angle essentially two tools, either a right angle drill attachment or a right angle screwdriver attachment. That’s how they get 5 in 1. This tool looks perfect for cabinet builders and installers among other things.

The Bosch GSR12V-140FC 12V FlexiClick 5-In-1 Drill Driver is available now and can be had for $199 as a kit that also includes two 2.oah batteries, a charger, and soft case.

Hi, not quite correct in the description. The drill itself has a magnetic bit holder, as does the right angle adaptor. The top attachment is a locking bit holder which can be used on the drill or the right angle adaptor.

I have the kit. Fine tools with excellent Bosch quality. The right angle drive seems a bit bulky and heavy, but operates with silky smoothness despite making the drill feel a bit heavy on the front end. I like the throw-it-in-the-bag fabric tool bag.
