Check out the Crazy New Worx WX178 AiDRILL

A new Worx WX178 AiDRILL has been spotted with a never before seen feature. It is a fully automated drill that takes the guesswork out of driving screws flush for you as it can detect when screws have been seated flush and shuts the motor down on the spot. It also has a pulse mode similar to Metabo’s drills to make short burst or RPM’s which can help drill bit walking and makes it easy to start holes in hard surfaces such as flat metal. The new never before seen stand out feature is the ability to tighten the chuck for you to install bits. It even self centers bits as the chuck tightens down so they don’t end up lop-sided.

Worx WX178 AiDRILL

  • Auto Chuck
  • Pulse Assist
  • Safe Drive

So far this video has been spotted on the Worx YouTube channel “WorxGarden” and it shows off the three unique features. As I said in the previous paragraph, the Auto Chuck mode is completely new, while the other two modes Pulse assist have been seen before on drills currently on the market.

What we can gather from the video, it’s a cordless Worx drill running on their 20V batteries. There’s a slide collar behind the chuck that activates the Auto Chuck feature, while there is a set of push buttons where a typical 2-speed slide switch would be.

Other than it’s existence, not much else is known at the moment about the new Worx WX178 AiDRILL so we’ll have to stay tuned for more info.
