So far the new Fortress air compressors from Harbor Freight have been getting excellent reviews, which makes this new Fortress 4 gallon 200 PSI oil free air compressor very welcome as it opens up more options that will fit a wider range of users and applications.
My thoughts: Just like the first 2 Fortress compressors, this new model is already getting some good reviews and has some great specs and features. With a 1.5HP motor that can start in temperatures down to -20F, 200 max PSI, 4 gallon steel tank, and a fairly low noise level for its size at 80 DBA, this should be an excellent option for running high pressure nailers and staplers. It also also features a full roll cage which will help keep the components safe from impacts.
