Klein Tools has announced a new compact laser distance measure, the 93LDM100C which is designed for portability.

The Klein Tools 93LDM100C compact laser measure fits easily in your hand. At just 4.7 inches in length makes it a bit shorter than the average pen yet it is very capable as it can measure up to 100 feet! Though small, it has a built in backlit display and has a measurement accuracy of up to 1/16″+/- for the first 30 feet and up to 1/8″+/- there on after.
You can select whether to take the measurement from the top or bottom of the device – with the bottom of the device measurement making it well suited for interior dimensions such as inside a door for example. It runs on two included AAA batteries and also gives you the remaining battery life on the display. It features a clip to be worn just as you would a pen such as clipped onto your shirt pocket for example. There’s also a lanyard loop built in (lanyard not included).
It will be priced at $34.97 when available making it very affordable.
