Klein introduces a new HVAC 8 in 1 Hex Head Slide Driver Screwdriver that also doubles as a 1/4″ and 5/16″ nut driver without the need installing or removing bits.
How do they do that? They do so with a special slide head that when in the regular position has a 1/4″ head that’s useful as a 1/4″ nut driver and can accept a variety of 1/4″ hex bits. When you slide the head up, it becomes a 5/16″ nut driver head. Pretty sweet setup right? To keep the head from sliding back and forth on it’s own, they implemented a twist knob that you can tighten to fix the head into place.
Aside from the special slide head, it’s also a multi bit screwdriver and they include a small assortment of bits, including a special schrader bit for the installation and removal of common TR-4 Schrader valves.
