When the Starlock multitool blade mount was introduced you could only find accessories from Fein and Bosch however since then Diablo and Imperial blades have offered Starlock mount accessories. Now Makita joins the group by offering their own Starlock mount accessories.

This is great news as the Starlock mount is getting more and more support as time goes by and having a major brand like Makita will likely cause a rapid growth for the mount. Makita being a tool manufacturer with several oscillating tool models under their belt possibly means that they might have a new multitool model or models coming out soon with the Starlock mount which would be even greater news.
So far I’ve spotted these Makita Starlock mount accessories in Japan and UK sites. No word on if or when these will hit US retail stores but I expect them to be sold here at some point in the future.
