Metabo SSD 18 LTX 200 BL 18v Brushless Impact Driver

Metabo has released a new brushless impact driver model SSD 18 LTX 200 BL and it has some upgraded features and specs from the previous model, bringing it more up to date with the competition.

My thoughts: Metabo’s focus seems to be more on overall quality rather than having the most power, which in many cases is a a good way to go. While this new model is still spec’d well below the market leaders, it achieves a respectable 1,770 in lbs of torque and has several features to make life easier for a variety of users. One feature this unit has is what Metabo calls automatic power shift, which works as a self tapping screw mode for use with sheet metal. Other features include 12 speed levels selectable via dial, LED light, belt hook, and a very compact design at only 5”.

This unit should be a great addition for anyone already in the Metabo 18v battery platform.
