Today Milwaukee has announced that they are introducing two new storage products to the PACKOUT system with a new rolling tool chest and a deep organizer.

Milwaukee PACKOUT Rolling Tool Chest 48-22-8428
Earlier this year we learned that Ridgid was coming out with a new mobile tool box , a modular tool box that connects to their Ridgid Pro storage system, that was a wide tool box with rear wheels and a side handle and now it appears Milwaukee is making something similar. Though not exactly the same box, the Milwaukee version is called the PACKOUT rolling tool chest and offers similar features like also being part of a modular storage system as part of Milwaukee’s own Packout storage system, the new storage box is a wide tool box with rear wheels and side handle. That’s where the similarities end as the Milwaukee is built from the ground up as a PACKOUT container and everything about it is overengineered and thus more robust such as its large 9″ all terrain wheels, large latches, and even the side handle makes the Ridgid handle look wimpy. Even the rated weight capacity is superior at 250 lbs max vs 100 lbs.
It has a 35 gallon capacity and offers a tough build with an impact resistant body, reinforced hinges, and metal reinforced locking points. There’s even a locking lid support that helps keep the lid up and open and helps make sure the lid doesn’t accidentally close on you. For additional storage options, there’s an interior organizer tray.
The Milwaukee Packout rolling tool chest will become available September 2021 for $229 MSRP.

Milwaukee PACKOUT Deep Organizer 48-22-8432
The Milwaukee Packout deep organizer is also part of Milwaukee’s modular storage Packout system and just like its name suggest, it’s an organizer with deeper interior space. Normally organizer tool storage offers shallow storage space which is fine for small objects like screws and small parts however not so good when you need to store small parts that aren’t tiny like pipe fittings for example. The deeper tray allow just that and the included dividers ensure you are able to keep different items separate from each other. Included are 6 dividers to customize to your liking.
The Packout deep organizer offers a 50 lbs weight capacity with a clear lid for easy item identification without opening. The unit has impact resistant construction to withstand abuse and a reinforced hinge and heavy duty latches.
It will be available in August 2021 with an MSRP of $64.97.
