Milwaukee introduces a new cordless nibbler to their 12 volt line with the M12 Fuel 16 gauge variable speed nibbler 2476-20. It is stated to launch August 2022 for $229 as a baretool.

You normally see cordless nibblers from the major brands on their 18 volt systems however Milwaukee went straight to 12 volt with their M12 Fuel nibbler. But just because it’s not an 18 volt tool, don’t think it’s any less capable as they made sure it has capabilities similar to other 18V models with the ability to cut 16 gauge mild steel, 18 gauge stainless steel, and 12 gauge aluminum which makes it as capable as Makita’s 18V model the XNJ01Z. No doubt its brushless motor helps it punch above its weight class and to give it the ability to cut 22 gauge spiral duct seams.
While there are various tools to cut metal such as tin snips, powered shears, and nibblers. Nibblers cut by using a punch and die to punch out or nibble pieces of metal and it is able to cut straight or curves and also makes it very capable at cutting corrugated metal panels. One of the downsides of nibblers is the stamped pieces they leave behind which means you need to clean up afterwards but Milwaukee includes a chip collection bag you can attach to the bottom of the nibbler piece that collects the waste material. It has a variable speed dial and when you crank it up, can cut up to 7 feet per minute. Other features include an LED light for low light situations, and a tool free 360 degree die rotation. Optional accessories include punch and die replacement pieces and a die holder extension.
