Milwaukee M18 Fuel Duplex Nailer – Features
Milwaukee is no stranger to nailers as they’ve come out with 18 gauge brad nailers all the way to framing nailers. So they know their stuff.
It’s good to see them come out with another nailer solution, the Milwaukee M18 Fuel Duplex Nailer to help with concrete work, specifically all the nailing around that goes on with concrete form assembly. I am a strong advocate for working smarter not harder and this certainly falls into that category over swinging a hammer all day.
This bad boy uses their proven nitrogen air spring tech and brushless motor to give it the ability to fire collated duplex nails. It can fire 8D up tdo 2-1/4″ drivable length and 16D up to 3 inch drivable length and has a max firing rate of up to 3 nails per second.
This nailer has a max “runtime” of up to 800 nails per charge. Specific battery capacity not mentioned along with rating so my guess would be when paired with the 5ah battery since that’s the one it comes bundled with as a kit. It also features tool-free jam clearance and depth of drive adjustment.
It also comes with a a flip out hook for easy hanging.
And it has a magazine nail capacity of 31 nails.
The M18 FUEL™ Duplex Nailer is designed for compatibility with the Milwaukee Collated Duplex Nails and is available in two sizes: 8D, 2 ¼-inch drivable length, and 16D, 3-inch drivable length. These proprietary fasteners deliver easier nail removal with a larger diameter head than other collated duplex nails and increased distance between nail heads.
