Milwaukee MX FUEL Backpack Blower MXF600-2HD Features

Milwaukee is no stranger to OPE (outdoor power equipment). They have several excellent options in their cordless M18 line and even a few sprinkled in their M12 lineup as well. Now their OPE spreads into their MX FUEL lineup with massive batteries for mo’ powa’ baby!

Their OPE entry in their MX FUEL line is a new powerful backpack blower. This badboy is a beast that Milwaukee claims offers a higher blowing force than up to 63cc gas. This is thanks to their POWERSTATE brushless motor that delivers 800 CFM, 190 MPH, and 30 newtons of blowing force! Those leaves wont know what hit them.

It has three speed settings with high, medium, and low. Medium Mode provides 700 CFM, 165 MPH, and 23 Newtons. Low Mode provides 600 CFM, 145 MPH, and 17 Newtons—ensuring optimal performance.

The main benefits of battery electric OPE is that you don’t have to deal with the hassles of gas. You don’t have to worry about pull starts, gas fumes, small engine maintenance, mixing fuel and oil, needing to buy fuel and oil, and the noise that comes with it. Just easy push button starting and lower noise.

Low noise is a big advantage for battery electric as not only does gas engine OPE noise get annoying, but there are even local noise ordinance requirements set in place. This OPE has a low operating noise level of 64 dB(A) according to Milwaukee to meet those local noise ordinance requirements.

Runtime is 20 minutes on high setting, 30 minutes on medium, and up to 45 on low setting. All when paired with the included Redlithium Forge HD12.0 battery. While these figures reflect trigger time at continuous full throttle, actual in application working time can extend longer due to operators feathering the trigger for control or walking between locations where a gas-powered blower would still be idling. Weight of the backpack blower with battery is 30.4 lbs.

Additional features include a fully adjustable harness, telescoping nozzle, and adjustable handle position. It also has ONE-KEY functionality for usage and location tracking, inventory visibility, and enhanced security such as remote lockout – all within the app that’s accessible via mobile devices or computer. ONE-KEY also lets you select the speed remotely.

This new MX FUEL brushless backpack blower will launch June 2025 for $2999 as a kit with 2x MX FUEL REDLITHIUM FORGE HD12.0 Batteries and rapid charger. It will also be available as a baretool for $999.
