With that in mind, they are letting us know of a rolling change on their Bold Line and Precision Line Chalk Reels. They’ve made an update to the hook design so it now has a pointed notch to center the fastener for a more accurate line. Please see the photo below for a look at this new hook design.

Milwaukee didn’t specify exactly when the new changes will occur but they said that “Please let your audiences know that they’ll begin seeing these updated versions on store shelves.” I’m going to assume that means soon.
