New Milwaukee Cobalt Step Drill Bits

Milwaukee has come out with three new cobalt step drill bits that are said to deliver up to 15X life in stainless steel drilling applications.

These new Milwaukee cobalt step drill bits are made in the USA and are said to offer up to 15x life in stainless steel and over 1000 holes in mild steel. There will be three new offerings with 3 step drill bits 1/8″-1/2″, 3/16″-7/8″, and 7/8-1-1/8″.

They feature and elongated dual flute with smaller steps for smooth drilling. The tip which they call “rapid strike” is said to deliver up to 2x faster holes in stainless. Milwaukee says these new step drill bits are optimized for cordless drills which is good as many have moved to cordless tools instead of corded. There are laser engraved reference marks. The 1/8″-1/2″ and 3/16″-7/8″ step drill bits offer multiple hole size markings making them very convenient while the largest 3/16″-7/8″ step drill bit only has two size markings.
