Milwaukee Tool opens up a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Granada, Mississippi.
This is Milwaukee’s 8th facility in Mississippi alone and also marks their largest in the USA to date. Milwaukee invested over $60 million into the project for a over 500,000 sq ft facility that employs over 800 people. They say they’ve recruited some of the best talent around the US, especially in the state of Mississippi.
Initially this new facility will produce several lines of accessories, including Sawzall blades, and will also expand their product lines as time goes on. This new facility adds to the workforce they’ve employed in the USA with a workforce of over 10,000 in the US alone.
