Ryobi just announced 3 new tools today, one of them being the Ryobi 18V 5″ Variable Speed Dual Action Polisher PBF100 .

Living up to Ryobi’s comprehensive and diverse set of tool line up, they have tools in almost every category. They already had polishers including a cordless polisher buffer but now Ryobi is getting serious about polishing with their new 18V 5″ Variable Speed Dual Action Polisher PBF100 unit. This thing is a beauty and is good for getting professional quality results.
It provides up to 7,500 Orbits Per Minute and weighs in at 3.75 lbs. It has a removable auxiliary handle and a lock-on switch and while it doesn’t offer a brushless motor it does provide pretty good runtime at up to 2 hours of runtime when used with a 9ah battery. The built-in non-marring bumpers also help protect your work surface.
It aint cheap at $199 as a baretool only, however it is lower priced than other brands similar style cordless offerings. It’s set to launch December 2020.
