Wrangler has a line of workwear called Riggs ranging from shirts, jackets, to pants and shorts. Wrangler themselves brought the Wrangler RIGGS WORKWEAR to my attention, particularly the Cool Vantage pants.
I haven’t tried them out but they do look interesting because as I take on projects from time to time, I have worn my regular “work” pants or shorts out from placing a measuring tape in my right front pocket. The top part of the pocket takes all the wear when I don’t use a tool belt, but for most of my uses, I don’t need a tool belt which is why I place the tape on my pocket.
The Wrangler Riggs pants have fixed this issue by reinforcing the top of the right pocket where you would typically place your tape measure. Although they only reinforce the right pocket, I don’t know why not both pockets? The rear pockets are lined with 1000 denier cardura fabric for durability.
Working in pants gets pretty hot so they made sure to keep you cool by using what they call their “cool vantage” tech that wicks away moisture, similar to performance tee’s material.
Wrangler RIGGS WORKWEAR Men’s Cool Vantage Carpenter Jean also offer the traditional carpenters pants hammer loop. Lastly the let openings are large enough to accommodate boots.
