Klein Tools Digital Angle Gauge with Angle Alert 935DAA – Features
This isn’t Klein Tools first foray into digital angle gauges. They’ve made some in the past including the 935DAG which I reviewed in the past.
Digital angle gauges are useful because they not only help you check if surfaces are level but they give you an exact degree of angle it is in. So if the surface is spot on or slightly off, it will tell you in degrees of angle.
Digital angle gauges also have the ability to check relative angles with its zero calibration feature. This is useful when calibrating bevel angles for table and miter saws in relation to their table tops.
What makes this 935DAA model with angle alert different is that it has built in LED lights on various points to alert you of how close you are to a determined angle. For example, if you set it to 45 degrees, the lights will light up red and orange to notify you of how close it is and green when the desired angle is reached. Pretty cool feature to have, especially if you can’t see the display but can see the lights from where your standing.
