Ridgid 18V Hybrid Dual Function Inflator R86051B Features:
Ridgid’s previous 18V inflator was a high pressure inflator meaning it could only inflate tires and sports balls but not low pressure high volume stuff like air mattresses. Ridgid fixes this with their latest 18V hybrid dual function inflator.
This model is a full size model and can do high pressure low and low pressure high volume for both tires and air mattresses. This is thanks to its dual functionality.
Performance is rated for up to 160 PSI in high pressure mode and can top off truck tires in under 60 seconds. Ridgid also states that this inflator is 40% quieter than their R87044 model. The high volume mode is rated for 16 SCFM to quickly inflate air mattresses.
It has a shape more inline with the full size inflators from sister brand Ryobi. It has a backlit LCD display that allows you to inflate tires to your desired PSI. Just set it and forget it as it will inflate and shut off when it reaches your set PSI. The display also shows you the actual PSI of your tire at any given time to know if it’s running low or not.
Being an 18V tool it runs on Ridgid 18V batteries.
But since it’s also a hybrid, it can run on 12V vehicle power from your car’s cigarette port. This makes for a perfect vehicle emergency tire inflator so you can leave your batteries at home and leave the inflator in your vehicle at all times.
It has built in storage for the included 12V cord when not in use.
I also like that this model has a built in LED which also makes it perfect for at night emergency situations. It also has built in storage for the included hoses and attachments. A carry handle is built onto the top of the unit for easy transport.
It will be available in February 2025 for $99 as a baretool.

Does it have a “runtime” or “Duty Cycle” limit? That is typically an indication of these types of tools. I’m hoping it is something more than 10 minutes of runtime in a 20 minute period. I like using Ridgid 18v tools. This one has a nice feature set.
