Milwaukee announced a lot of new tools at this years Pipeline event with one of them being the new M18 FUEL 18 lb SDS MAX demolition hammer. Only the basics were shown in the preview but now we get to dive deeper with all the important specs. Let’s check it out below.

Milwaukee M18 FUEL 18 LB SDS MAX Demolition Hammer 3018-22HD
There was a time when you could only get demolition hammers as corded tools. How times have changed as many long time corded tools have gone cordless with battery tech improving. Of course Milwaukee’s had cordless large demolition hammers and even breaker hammers using their MX battery tech but now we have a demolition hammer as part of their wildly popular M18 line. Their latest cordless demolition hammer runs on their M18 battery platform meaning you don’t have to change over to a new battery platform and use your existing one.
They’ve been able to create a new M18 FUEL 18 lb demolition hammer and this bad boy puts out 11.4 ft-lbs (15.5 J) of impact energy making it the hardest hitting demo hammer in its class. And Milwaukee even goes on to say that it hits harder than a corded 18 lb demolition hammer!
It comes kitted with a couple of REDLITHIUM FORGE HD12.0 batteries and each can provide up to a 1/3 ton of material removal per charge. Allowing you to take on small to medium sized applications, all on the M18 system. It also has four selectable speeds.
It features AVS anti-vibration system tech to reduce vibration for added comfort. Another awesome feature is the included VACLINK wireless tech so it can wirelessly pair with and control a VACLINK equipped dust extractor remotely.
It also has ONE-KEY functionality for tool tracking and inventory-management capabilities.
It has built in physical controls for the 4 selectable speeds as well as buttons for the VACLINK and ONE-KEY functions.
On top you’ll find the settings dial to get to hammering and rotate and lock chisel position.
It will be available November 2026 for $1,299 as a kit with two REDLITHIUM FORGE HD12.0 batteries and a rapid charger.
