I was given a pair of Klein Hybrid pliers and other incentives by Klein in exchange for an honest review. These pliers are great! A lot of functionality in a relatively small package. The strippers do a great job on solid and stranded wire. The crimpers work well with the non insulated connectors. The wire cutters cut pretty well through thick and thin wire. The added leverage is a nice feature. I tried shearing several screw heads with little to no wear visible on the tool. I would recommend these for anyone who needs to carry less tools in their service bag or pouch. I would like to see the handles an inch or two longer for a more balanced feel.
Hybrids are nice, lightweight but well built, not necessarily an everyday carry but can see many uses where they would be used regularly.#kleincrusaders

This honestly is the best multi-tool pliers out there. These things are so much lighter than carrying my linesman’s and strippers. These things can cut wire, strip wire, twist wire, knock out ko’s in a 4square box, cut 8/32 & 6/32 bolts, crimp non-insulated connectors, and just about anything else you use your linesmans for.
I am thoroughly impressed by these pliers. Hands down the best tool I could ever recommend for a multiple use tool.
All I carry for a quick troubleshoot call is my klein 11in1 and these new hybrid pliers.

I wasn’t sure about these pliers at first, I would have liked the handles to be a little longer like actual kleins. But as far as the functionality of the tool, it works as good, if not better than the tools it replaces. I’m a maintenance electrician, so these are a no brainer. It lightens my pouch I carry all the time for general calls. From residential to industrial, they will add time and step up production from the typical back and forth with tools. Get you a pair and you won’t regret it. #kleincrusaders

I recently got this new Hybrid to test out. After a month of industrial uses, I must say I love it. I tend to just carry this and my multi screwdriver to most calls now. I have my other tools on the cart just in case, but often times this 5 in 1 is the perfect tool. With a screw cutter for 6-32 and 8-32 it has helped on a few quick box installs. The crimper at the bottom of the tool has helped out nicely when crimping a few lugs this week. I have loved the linesman/strippers/side cutters combo the most though. Having those 3 tools combined together in a hybrid without it being overly heavy or bulky is a thing of beauty. This tool is just the right weight and size for me to carry everywhere I go. Thanks Klein for coming out with this great design. I couldn’t be happier to have this in my carry. The strippers and cutters are sharp and cut clean. The gnarled linesman ends make twisting up wires a breeze. I haven’t had to twist more than 3-4 at a time yet and nothing more than 10AWG but I am sure it could handle more. Received these pliers from Klein Tools for testing. I work in an industrial/commercial environment doing service calls in my plant. Usually all I need is the tools I carry with me. I always like to carry my lineman pliers and this now gives me the option of carrying a multi-tool in its place. I really like the feel and performance of these pliers, they are light weight and with the integrated strippers and crimpers make for a excellent all around tool. Klein, You got this one right!
