Here’s another new tool that’s been spotted from AEG (Ridgid is known as AEG in Europe and Australia). This new cordless 18V tool is a new nailer, the AEG 18V Brushless 15ga Angled Finish Nailer.
Ridgid / AEG currently have 2 cordless finish nailers with their brushless 18V 18ga and 16ga straight nailers and with the AEG / Ridgid 18V Brushless 15ga Angled Finish Nailer, this will be their third in the line up.
Ridgid recently announced a new 18V battery powered compressor here and personally I think ditching the compressor altogether and sticking with a cordless nailer is the better way to go in my opinion. A cordless nailer such as the AEG / Ridgid 18V Brushless 15ga Angled Finish Nailer gives the user true portability and mobility without having to drag around a bulky heavy compressor and have to deal with tangles of air hoses and cables.
The AEG 18V Brushless 15ga Angled Finish Nailer is also brushless just like the rest of Ridgid’s and AEG nailers and features an angled magazine design. It still retails the looks and styling from the current Ridgid & AEG nailers and I see a built in LED at the top front and a grip light button on the handle along with a belt clip.

This new AEG / Ridgid 18V Brushless 15ga Angled Finish Nailer was spotted in the AEG Australia website. There’s no word on if or when this will be made into a Ridgid branded nailer and be brought to North America but there’s a big chance it might because most AEG 18V tools have been made Ridgid tools in North America.
