Online retail giant Amazon is now entering the Health Care Sector as they agreed to purchase PillPack for $1 Billion. PillPack is a full-service pharmacy that sorts your medication by the dose and delivers to your door.

What the Amazon PillPack purchase means for us:
Expect to soon be able to fill your prescriptions online through the Amazon.com website on top of being able to purchase just about everything else through the retail giant. We can expect lower prices on prescriptions, expect a lot of volume, however maybe not all the choices we want.
