When you think of Dewalt Flexvolt tools, you think of tools for the construction jobsite however Dewalt Flexvolt batteries are now saving lives when used with Amkus ION 2.0 cordless rescue tools.
The rescue tools themselves are not Dewalt branded tools but are Amkus branded tools which are powered by Dewalt Flexvolt batteries. Considering their choice of batteries, their tools are 60V Max tools as that is the Max voltage output (54V) of Flexvolt batteries.
These Amkus cordless rescue tools consist of a spreader tool similar to the Hurst Jaws of Life, a cutter tool, a ram tool, and a combination tool that can spread, cut and “pop” doors.
