The Bosch BLAZE GLM 20 Laser Measure shares a similar design shape and size of the tiny pocket friendly GLM 15 model but with a few extras such as a longer measuring range of 65 ft and comes with a built in backlight as a standard feature. The backlight will make life much easier when working in poorly lit areas or in areas with no light. While some of the other laser measers have been compact enough to fit into a shirt pocket or better in a large pants pocket, the GLM 15 and GLM 20 are truly pocketable. At only 4 inches long, these new laser measures aren’t much larger than set of keys so they won’t add much bulk inside your pockets.
Just like the GLM 15 model it also features a simple one button design to turn the unit on/off and to take measurements. It’s so simple to use that only one button press is needed to turn on and make measurements. The built in memory allows the GLM 20 to record measurements with a second button press to save. One thing to keep in mind is that this model takes off the shelf AAA batteries that are basically everywhere to purchase instead of a built in rechargeable battery.
