Brushless Ridgid 18V 3 Speed Impact Driver (Torque Update)

Yesterday I wrote about Ridgid’s latest brushless 18V offerings which includes a new brushless compact hammer drill and brushless 3 speed impact driver. It turns out that Ridgid was a bit modest when they provided torque info for their latest brushless impact driver. It does not churn out 2,000 in-lbs torque as was previously claimed, instead the torque output for this 3 speed impact driver is actually 2,250 according to Ridgid. WOW! 2k in-lbs torque was impressive enough on paper and the new torque rating of 250 in-lbs additional torque should make it a force to be reckoned with for an 18V impact driver. This actually brings it’s torque numbers right there with compact 3/8″ and some 1/2″ 18V impact WRENCH’s.

This info has been updated in the original post.

nice tool, I am really impressed with the direction Ridgid is going lately Javier, they really seem to be upping their game and are as good if not better than some of the big name brands, 2250 in-ilbs is an impressive number!

It is, I was impressed when I first heard 2,000 in-lbs and now with the correct updated info is even more impressive with over 2k in-lbs torque.
