A new Cordless Dewalt 20V DCW600B Brushless Compact Router has been Spotted in Canada.

Very little info is known about this new cordless tool but it’s awesome to know a new cordless router is coming to the Dewalt 20V system! This new cordless router features a brushless motor and appears very similar to their corded DWP611 compact router – in fact the two look identical except for the word “brushless” on the cordless model. What we know is that the new cordless model is said to have similar performance to the corded unit, it has an all metal can, has dual LED lights (just like the corded model) and variable speeds with variable speed dial (just like the corded model). The battery mounts on top of the unit.
This looks very promising and exciting because if the body is physically identical in terms of the exterior, we should be able to use the same accessories as the corded unit like the plunge base and other stuff like the round clear plastic sub base and dust collection attachments.
I know this will launch in Canada for $269 Canadian currency in November 2018. No word on launch dates and pricing for the USA or other parts of the world.
