Craftsman Introduces New 60V Outdoor Power Tool Line – With String Trimmer / Mower / Blower / Chainsaw

Craftsman now has a new 60V cordless outdoor power tool line and they are starting it off with a new 14″ string trimmer, lawn mower, blower and chainsaw.

Big thanks to Cody Robertson who found this info over at Sears. Right now the 60V string trimmer, mower and blower along with their 60v battery are on the website ready for purchase however Cody did some further snooping and was able to take a screenshot of a register monitor that has info on additional info on their 16″ chainsaw which will be available Fall 2018.

All new 60V tools are better than their Craftsman 40V tools as you would expect and offer nice features/spec’s to price ratio with their string trimmer being a 14″ string trimmer that uses dual 0.080″ line and comes in a kit for $159. The lawn mower is a brushless mower with 19″ deck and comes in a kit with 5.0ah battery for $399. The blower is an axial blower and offers 440 CFM at 110 MPH and comes in a kit for $169. Not sure if they are on sale or what but Sears claims the MSRP or regular price is $219 for either the string trimmer or blower kits and $499 for the mower kit. Pricing for the 2.0ah 60v battery is $99 a piece. At the time of writing the 5.0 ah is not available for sale separately and can only be found kitted with the mower.

No other info on the chainsaw as of yet but only thing we know is that it has a 16″ bar and chain. They are off to a good start but I didn’t see any mention of a 60V hedge trimmer so hopefully they add one soon to the new line to make it a bit more complete.
