Ego is one of those brands that is constantly working hard to improve on its cordless products. One of those examples are their blowers and have many iterations of this product that have surpassed previous models. When you thought cordless blowers couldn’t get more powerful, Ego releases a new blower that’s rated an insane 765 CFM! It is their Ego 765 CFM blower. This model is known as the LB7650 as a baretool, LB7654 or LB7654-2 in kit form with one or two batteries.

Performance
Just when we thought that battery powered leaf blowers were pushing the envelope with over 600 CFM’s of air volume, Ego does it again with their latest blower with a rated 765 CFM’s which easily surpasses the 700 CFM barrier! Not only does it have insane CFM’s but it also does so at a rated 200 MPH. One thing to note is that to get the highest MPH speeds out of this blower, you’ll need to use the included tapered nozzle to concentrate the air speed. Another thing to note is that Ohio Power Tool mentions this as having a max 195 MPH air speed while the official Ego website mentions 200 MPH as shown in the image below from Ego and I am not sure of why there is a slight discrepancy.
Another thing to note is that in order to get the max 765 CFM performance, you need to engage the “turbo” mode. The variable speed dial on this can get you from 260 CFM to a max 580 CFM in regular use. While the turbo button gets you the max rated performance. Some may not like this idea but in some ways it makes sense. This is because the battery drains quickly when using the max performance on this machine.
Runtime:
Thankfully you can get about 15 minutes of runtime on turbo mode with a 5.0ah battery, the same one that comes with it in a kit, and Ego says you can get up to 150 minutes on low and about 90 minutes of average runtime with a 5.0ah battery which gives it good runtime as long as you seldomly use the turbo mode and the highest range of blower. This is all no doubt thanks to them using a powerful brushless motor as we know that brushless motors are more power efficient than non brushless motors.
