Klein Tools 1500W Portable Power Station KTB1000 & 60W Portable Solar Panel 29250

Two years ago, Klein launched a portable power station with 300 continuous watts named the KTB5 and now they’ve announced a new model the KTB100 with 1500 continuous watts of pure sine wave AC power. They’ve also launched a new 60W portable solar panel 29250 that you can buy separately and be used to power and recharge devices like the KTB1000.

While the TB5 was about the size of a lunchbox, the Klein KTB1000 is a bit larger but still not a large box which makes it good for portable power on the go. And the 1500 continuous watts makes it convenient for all sorts of plug in tools and appliances and even some power tools. It is said to have pure sine wave so as to be used to provide clean power for sensitive devices and those with variable speed dials.

The Klein KTB1000 has several output options including four 120V three prong outlets, six USB ports (3 x 60W USB-C PD and 3 x USB-A) and a 12V car port. It’s nice to see that there are some fast charging power delivery USB ports for our modern age. There are two chargers included a slow and a fast charger and the smaller slower charger can be stowed away on the top storage compartment and when both chargers are used together, you can recharge the units internal battery to up to 80% in up to 2.5 hours according to Klein. There’s an backlit LCD panel on the front to give you the info you need like remaining charge while you use the portable power station.

The Klein KTB1000 is priced at around $1299.99 at the time of writing.
