Klein Tools has announced a new glow in the dark 20 foot fish tape model number 50550. This new fish tape has some interesting features as it not only has a see through case so you may see the fish tape, the fish tape itself is fully removable.
Like all glow in the dark products, this fish tape will only glow if exposed to light. Exposure to light is how it gets “charged” and glows however the glowing effect does not last long and quickly starts to fade away until it is no longer glowing. Exposing it to light again will recharge it and cause it to glow for another little while. The benefit of having a clear case is so that the tape can be exposed to light and “charge” before it’s put to use so it may glow when used in a dark place.
