Klein Tools Impact Driver BAT20CD & Compact 1/2″ Impact Wrench BAT20CW

Klein Tools has announced two new 20V impacts with the BAT20CD Impact Driver BAT20CD and the Compact 1/2″ Impact Wrench BAT20CW.

Both of these run on Dewalt 20V batteries and both offer single speed with variable speed triggers and offer 210 ft-lbs of torque with 0-2200 RPM. That means that the impact driver is putting out around 2520 in-lbs of torque which is pretty high for an impact driver. It appears that both models are basically identical with the only difference being either a 1/2″ anvil or hex 1/4″ chuck which explains why the impact driver has such high torque, because it’s based on an impact wrench body. And as we all know, impact wrenches are always built with more torque than impact drivers.
