Makita 18V Radio Spotted In Video Game Turing Test

Besides playing with tools I also do some video gaming from time to time, mostly on the Nintendo Switch. And while playing a new eShop title called The Turing Test which is a first person puzzle game similar to Portal, I noticed there were some in game items that looked oddly familiar and that’s because they placed Makita 18V radios in the game.

They don’t go on an write “Makita” on the radios themselves and they aren’t even the same signature Makita teal blue as usual but there’s no mistaking these are Makita 18V radios for sure. It even replicates the line where the battery compartment that opens up in the back side, as seen on the sides.

This makes me wonder how often other brand name tools are included in other video games as well as I know brand name power tools are often shown on TV and Movies.

Funny! I actually used my ryobi speakers during a game demo we were putting on at a show. They worked great!
