It has some pretty interesting features as it not only includes an LED light in front where the blade is located to easily read measurements in low light, but also includes a magnet on the back to cling to metal surfaces. They also beefed it up with a 4 point reinforced frame to protect from drops. The blade is said to have a 4 foot standout.
