I remember I asked if they could come out with some sort of 12 volt grinder and the closest thing to that is a mini cut off tool. It has a layout and grip for vertical cutting, hence the name cut off tool and is shaped similar to a super tiny M12 Fuel Circular saw although the motor is designed for very high RPM for effectiveness as a cut off tool. I’m sure they could make a 12 volt grinder however the technology probably isn’t there yet for it to be effective at grinding. As seen from it’s title, it accepts 3 inch cut off wheels and a variety of them are shown in the picture above for metal cutting and concrete cutting.

At 20,000 RPM the POWERSTATETM brushless motor, paired with Milwaukee’s REDLINKTM electronics and
REDLITHIUMTM XC4.0 battery, provides the cutting performance to tackle materials ranging from metal &
steel, to drywall & cement board, to tile. The one-handed, in line design provides exceptional control in
cutting applications while improving the users’ line of site to their material.

We can expect this new Milwaukee M12 Fuel 3″ Cut Off Tool to come out in August 2018.
