Not exactly tiny, the new speaker is almost the size of a regular jobsite radio but it is said to pack great sound and be the loudest – some really impressive claims if true. It has a sleek long hexagonal shape and has multiple ways to be powered, either by cordless with M12 or M18 batteries with a runtime of up to 16 hours with M18 batteris, or can be powered by AC adapter. This is great because whether you’re on either the M12 or M18 system, you can use this speaker with either battery.
It utilizes bluetooth connectivity making it a wireless speaker and can be operated wirelessly up to 100 feet away. You can also plug in your device and play it via AUX cable in case your tech is old school so those of you still rocking cd players or cassette players are covered. You can also charge modern mobile devices with the built in USB charge port.
Expect this new speaker to be available in January 2017 and with a retail price of $149.
