Milwaukee MX Fuel Concrete Vibrator MXF370-2XC

Milwaukee is committed to providing additional solutions to those in the concrete pouring industry and they have announced a new MX Fuel concrete vibrator MXF370-2XC which is a battery powered concrete vibrator to help users not be restricted by cords and where cords could make the jobsite dangerous. It also reduces the need for gas generators and the such with a battery powered portable solution.

The MX Fuel concrete vibrator is capable of vibrating up to a 2-1/2″ head (not included) at up to 11,200 vibrations per minute. The concrete vibrator is powerful for its size and is compact enough to be carried around and being 23 lbs in weight, a shoulder strap is included to help carry the weight as the tool is carried along.

Milwaukee says you can use your existing Oztec heads and shafts along with their MX Fuel concrete vibrator and with that in mind, the unit doesn’t come with heads or shafts. If you don’t have any to begin with, then you can purchase just the size head and shaft needed with heads ranging from 1 inch up to 2-1/2 inches and shafts ranging from 7 feet up to 21 feet.

As far as runtime is concerned, Milwaukee has provided the above list that provides the runtime you can expect with their XC406 battery pack with up to 70 yds3 which I believe is 70 cubic yards with a 1-1/2″ head and 7 ft shaft. Runtimes go down the larger the head and shaft size which is to be expected and goes down up to 30 yds3 with a 21 foot shaft with 2-1/2″ head.

Being a battery powered tool, it has easy push button starting, a shoulder strap as was previously mentioned, lanyard hook to keep the unit safe from high falls, is ONE-KEY compatible so you can track, manage, secure the vibrator from your mobile device, and has the ability to prevent tampering with a lockout feature. It also comes included with a wireless remote that can remotely power the unit from up to 30 feet away! The battery latch area has a rubberized cover to protect it from concrete.

The Milwaukee MX Fuel concrete vibrator is stated to launch May 2022 for $2,199 as a kit with 2 XC406 batteries, charger, remote, and charger strap. Shafts and heads are sold separately.
