New Greenworks 82V Commercial Outdoor Power Equipment Line has been spotted on the Greenworks website. This new commercial 82V line seems to differentiate itself from their existing 80V line and is said to offer “One battery system, multiple tools, professional grade quality and performance”.

Their system includes a 16″ brushless string trimmer, 18″ brushless chain saw, 21″ brushless lawn mower, 26″ brushless hedge trimmer, 530 CFM 130 MPH axial blower, and 8″ edger. Their new Commercial 82V brushless line runs on 82V batteries ranging from a 2.5ah, 4ah, 5ah, and extended capacity backpack battery.

Battery models include a 2.5ah battery, a 4ah battery and a backpack battery for ultimate runtime. Rapid charge of 36 minutes 82V 2.5ah battery, 60 minutes 82V 4ah battery, 75 minutes for the 5ah battery, and a 3 hour charge time for the backpack battery model. The backpack battery is said to be able to give select outdoor power equipment up to 7 hours of runtime. Which specific model or models will benefit from a up to 7 hour runtime are not stated but we can expect huge runtime differences between the 2.5, 4ah, & 5ah battery compared to the backpack battery. The backpack battery amp hour capacity is not stated but I am almost certain it is a 9 amp hour battery based on its GL 900C model name.

The new 82V line of power tools and batteries are a completely new tool line, designated as Greenworks Commercial cordless outdoor power equipment line. It is also not backwards compatible with their 24V, 40V, or 80V power tools and batteries.
