New Milwaukee 52” Mobile Work Station Features Raised Surface with Pullout Trays

Milwaukee just announced a new rolling tool box – the Milwaukee 52” Mobile Work Station.

Basically they took the overall design and features of the previous Milwaukee 60″ Mobile Work Station and shortened it by 8 inches. They removed the metal peg board but the huge new added feature is the raised hardwood top which gives you the ability to clamp items onto it for added functionality.

There’s open space underneath the top from all sides that allows one of the jaws from a clamp to grab onto. Also unique to the Milwaukee 52” Mobile Work Station are open top pullout trays that gives access and sight of contents without having to slide out the trays. This gives it some of the functionality of the open workbench design of the Ron Paulk workbench.

It still has all of the conveniences of Milwaukee’s other metal tool boxes such as a built in power strip on the right side, a large drawer with compartments made specifically for cordless drills and impacts and their batteries, the ability to fasten a Milwaukee battery charger on the right side, beefy angle iron construction, and there’s the metal shelf from the larger Milwaukee 60″ Mobile Work Station.

Milwaukee 52” Mobile Work Station features a total of 9 drawers and 2 pullout trays, and the drawer slides are soft close slides that can take up to 100 lbs. The Milwaukee 52” Mobile Work Station has a combined total of 1800 lbs weight capacity.

The will be available soon in May 2017 for around $599.
